2019 Cuvee Pinot Noir.

Stangeland 2019 Cuvée Pinot Noir Eola-Amity Hills/Willamette Valley AVA. Sourced from 5 vineyards, most of whom we have been working with for decades. Golden Hillside (33%), our estate (25%), Spring (20%), Miller's (15%) & Greenwood (7%). which comes from a diverse set of soils: Marine (35%), Alluvial (25%) & Volcanic (40); elevations: 200ft to 700ft; and clonal varieties: Dijon 115 (35%), Wädenswil (20%), Pommard (20%), Dijon 777 (13%) & Dijon 828 (12%). All lots were fermented separately and than barrel aged for 12 months in French oak, creating a diverse set of flavors. Its classic burgundian nose, lower alcohol, smooth mouthfeel, Eola-Amity Hills signature spicy midpalate, & sexy finish create a wine both drinkable now and worthy of a spot in one's cellar next to far more expensive wines for long term aging (8 years).
